Jamie & Amber Rain Mathewson
Jamie Mathewson was born and raised in South Africa.
He currently lives in the U.S., and resides in Ider, Alabama.
His family still lives in South Africa.
Jamie is an FAA commercial Pilot, Flight instructor,
Game Ranger and part owner of Jamber Safaris with his wife, Amber Rain.
Jamie founded Jamber Safaris in 2004
and is building the business to be a huge success.

Amber was born in Tennessee and now lives in Alabama.
Amber has owned horses since she was a child
and has 20 years experience in horse training and trails.
She currently owns and operates
"Whispering Rain Farms",
a horse training facility, where she trains horses &
offers beginning riding lessons to all ages.
Jamie and Amber are a team that is great with people,
and they love the wild.
They have a passion for South Africa and love to share it with their guests.

On Sunday Jan 22, 2006 Jamie & Amber were united in marriage
in a traditional African ceremony at
Pezulu Lodge in South Africa.

2008 update on Johnny: Johnny is now grown and
has joined a nearby herd and
lives happily with his own kind.
All thanks to the Mathewson family,
who rescued him and bottle fed him as a baby!
