A Typical Day with Jamber in South Africa

A typical day in South Africa, with

 Jamber

Have your morning coffee and "rusks"  in the Bush while watching

An African Sunrise

Then.....Load up for a game drive into the Bush on an open vehicle

or.............Go for a Big 5 Game Walk.

The Big 5 are: Elephant, Lion, Rhino, Cape Buffalo, and Leopard.

They are called the Big 5 for many reasons. They are the 5 most dangerous animals to hunt. They never run away when wounded, and they will always come back.....

Then..........

Return to the Lodge for Breakfast around 9:30am.

Enjoy a buffet breakfast in the open air dining room. Sometimes the Pezulu Lodge staff will sing and dance for you, which is always a great sight to see.

AFTER BREAKFAST.......

Choose to

Relax around the beautiful rock pool

Or, go on an organized activity......

Such as .........an Ultra Light Flight with one of our commercial pilots

for an aerial view

....or  a boat ride in the world's 3rd largest canyon

for a view from the river !

Then..............return to the Lodge

for a late lunch (High Tea)

After Lunch

enjoy another organized activity, such as:

Shopping for African curios, or visiting tribal villages to get a feel of true African culture!

An African market, where you can buy hand made curios, visit with friendly South African locals, and enjoy very talented cultural music.

Or visit the Moholoholo Animal Rehab & Breeding Centre

for a hands on experience with animals that, for different reasons, can never be returned to the wild. At Moholoholo, you will encounter the passion people have for nature conservation. This project is to study the natural habitats and territories of Eagles, Birds, Lions, Hyaenas, Hippos, and many other wild animals species. This facility is also occupied by the finest animal veterinarians in the world. They try to re-introduce endangered animals to the wild. However; some animals can never be released so they are used to educate mankind.

Or.....

you may choose to take a 3 or 6 hour Horseback ride into Blyde River Canyon, the Third Largest Canyon in The World !   We accommodate all levels of experience.

You may choose to go Hot Air Ballooning (weather permitting)

OR

Tour The Local Silk Factory  (farms)

www.bombyxmori.co.za

www.silkcompany.co.za

How does a nice handmade silk comforter sound???

Or may-be you would like a night gown, clothes, or cosmetics that are handmade from silk.

(They give Jamber guests special prices !)

Dinner is being prepared.......

........while you climb the observation tower,(and overlook a water hole where the animals enjoy their morning and afternoon drink)......

....Or, photograph animals around the lodge

...or.... just relax

Maybe you'd like a drink before Dinner????

The Pezulu "water hole" (Bar) stocks great South African wines, liqueurs, beers, and soft drinks along with other international products. This is a private bar so only Pezulu guests access this area.

or maybe you want to just hang out on your own private room balcony, where you can watch the animals walk underneath you, and you may see a giraffe eye to eye !

It's Evening

Time for a three course Dinner at The Lodge

Dinners are all homemade South African cuisine.

The dress code is informal, so dress casual & comfortable.

"bonupatree"

Or maybe Dinner  "in the Bush"

After a full day with Jamber,

we've been known to have to carry some Guests to bed !

An African Sunset

Time to make your way up to your private room in the trees !!!!

.....Step into your beautiful private bedroom

And.......Sleep tight...

But..........

........don't let the baboons bite !!!!

We'll see you first thing in the morning for another day with:

Jamber !
